Did you know that you can eat the stems of cilantro, parsley, and basil? We often throw out parts of veggies that are perfectly edible! Instead, repurpose them in the following ways:
• 🌿 Beet or radish greens ➡️ Sauté with garlic and oil for a side dish. • 🥦 Broccoli or cauliflower stems ➡️ Grate and add to a salad or stir fry. • 🥔 Potato, beet, or carrot peels ➡️ Roast with olive oil for a “healthy” chip. • 🥕 Onion, carrot, or celery ends ➡️ Freeze and use to make veggie broth.
