Lamb Khorma

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 14 oz diced lamb
  • 2 tbsp Gourmet Garden Fresh Blends™ Indian
  • 1 tbsp ginger Gourmet Garden
  • 1 tbsp garlic Gourmet Garden
  • 2/3 cup chicken stock
  • 1/3 cup light coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup green beans trimmed & chopped
  • Sliced spring onions and rice to serve

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a medium saucepan, cook poppy seeds and onion until onion softens.
  • Add turmeric, lamb, Gourmet Garden Fresh Blends™ Indian, Gourmet Garden Garlic, Ginger and chicken stock to pan.
  • Simmer 40 minutes or until lamb is tender and sauce has reduced. Stir in light coconut milk and green beans.
  • Simmer curry until beans are just tender.
  • Serve topped with spring onions on rice.
