Candie the nuts, mix everything except the cashews together in a small bowl.
Over medium heat, toast the cashews until they’re fragrant.
Once the cashews are toasted, add the syrup mixture, stirring until excess liquid has candied onto the nuts. Pour on a piece of parchment paper to cool.
Make the dressing, whisk everything together in a small bowl until well combined. Assemble and serve.
