Picnic Jar Salad

Picnic jar salads are fun, delicious and perfect to take to your next outdoor meal!  Layer them properly and simply shake up when you're ready to eat.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Your favourite Salad Dressing
  • 1/2 cup Cherry Tomatoes halved
  • 1/2 cup Cucumber chopped
  • 1/2 cup Red Pepper chopped
  • 1/2 cup Black Beans low sodium, canned, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup Strawberries chopped
  • 1 tbsp Goat cheese
  • 2 cups Spinach or Romaine lettuce

Instructions

  • Layer all ingredients in a 1 L mason jar starting with the dressing and ending with the spinach. Refrigerate.
  • When you are reading to eat, shake and transfer to a bowl.
