Apple Nachos
Savour the flavour of apples in this dish. Quick and easy, these apple nachos are a winner with both kids and adults.

apples

Tbsp (15ml)
of lemon juice

Tbsp (30ml)
almond butter
2
tsp (10g)
of mini chocolate chips
Instructions
Wash and cut apples into thin, firm slices.
Toss apple slices with lemon juice.
Microwave almond butter until runny (15-20 seconds).
Arrange apple slices on a plate in a single layer. Drizzle with almond butter and chocolate chips.

Tips & Notes
Almond butter can be substituted with peanut butter, cashew butter, sunflower butter, or even tahini.
Get your kids involved in adding their own toppings! Substitute the mini chocolate chips with chopped nuts, raisins, or sprinkles.
