Ginger and garlic are a wonderful combination for asparagus. Once roasted, the fresh juice and flavour of the orange makes this a mouthwatering side dish.

Instructions:

  1. Cut asparagus in half (if desired) and toss wtih oil, ginger, garlic, orange zest, salt and pepper. Spread onto parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  2. Roast in 425 F (220 C) oven for about 8 minutes or until tender but still firm.
  3. Sprinkle oranges over top and let stand 2 minutes before serving.
